Artist Statement

I fell in love with glassblowing in 2018.  As an artist I am drawn to glass because of the endless possibilities the material provides.  Executing an artistic vision in glass is challenging, and it is this challenge that motivates me to keep coming back to the studio and pushing myself to create, adapt, and learn.  Discovering how to express myself in glass has been a rewarding, humbling, and evolving process.

My work is focused on searching for beautiful moments:

Moments in a color pattern where the movement of the molten glass is frozen in the finished piece.  Where colors move and overlap in unique ways, creating unreproducible patterns.
